404 page design. June 15 2012 Design. Marketing. Birmingham.

The 404 page is often forgotten about & not given the creative consideration it deserves.

If you don't have a 404 page for your site then you really need to start thinking about getting one.

Through no fault of your own a visitor to your site can land on your error page.

The loss of communication at this point could be critical & you need to engage with your audience & redirect them quickly and effectively.

A well-designed 404 page will enable you to keep your visitor engaged & keep them interested in your site.

Often this is done by clever thought provoking designs, which regularly rely on humour.

Here are some of my favourites.404-page-design-08.jpg404-page-design-01.jpg404-page-design-02.jpg404-page-design-03.jpgAnd here are some we've done404-page-design-05.jpg404-page-design-04.jpg404-page-design-06.jpg

Send me some of your favourites and I'll put them in this post.
